TARO projected on the status of Artistic freedom in Tanzania at PANAF (Pan African Artistic Freedom) SUMMIT 2024, Zanzibar. it is an initiative that has successfully created an inclusive regional voice, made up of professionals from African countries. Its primary focus is to raise awareness about incidents involving violations of artistic freedom and collaborate with professionals who advocate for artistic rights at both regional and national levels. The program is coordinated by @selammusic with the support of @kulturradet.se . Several civil societies @pearlwoodug @javan_thepoet poetteardrops@ kijana hai foundation, artists @killaace1, @vitalimaembe, government representatives, National arts councils, International organizations @cisacnews @pimesoamerica @atriskartists @penamerica and arts professionals have made their intellectual contributions. The summit included Nigeria, Gambia, Mozambique, Kenya, Zambia, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania mainland, and Zanzibar.
